Toronto, Ontario – August 15, 2026 – Danceplace Digital today announced the launch of the Danceplace Impact Fund, a long-term initiative that will help create opportunities for young people through dance scholarships and youth development programs around the world.

The initiative reflects Danceplace’s commitment to investing in the future of the dance community by supporting organizations that provide meaningful access to dance education for children and young people who may not otherwise have the opportunity.

The fund launches with two program partners:

  • Tapperz Dance Skool in Surat, India, which will provide annual scholarships for children pursuing dance education.
  • Instituto AvivArt in Brazil, which delivers community-based youth dance programs that promote artistic development, confidence and social inclusion.

The Danceplace Impact Fund is funded through a portion of the platform’s service fees from ticket sales processed through Danceplace. Since January 2026, every ticket sold through the platform has helped build the fund, creating a sustainable model that grows alongside the dance community.

Unlike traditional fundraising campaigns, the Danceplace Impact Fund is designed as an ongoing initiative that grows alongside the Danceplace platform, allowing the company to expand its support as the global dance community continues to grow.

 

The program emphasizes long-term partnerships with established local organizations that understand the unique needs of their communities and can deliver measurable impact through scholarships and youth programming.

The first scholarship recipients are expected to begin participating in funded programs during 2026.Danceplace will publish annual updates highlighting funded programs, community impact and partner organizations as the initiative grows.
